What is the CSCS test and card?
Anyone who works on a construction site or who needs access to a construction site in the UK – such as bricklayers, carpenters, scaffolders and fabricators – needs to have a health and safety pass known as a CSCS Card. The CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is designed to prove that the holder of the card is both competent and safe to work in the construction industry. The CSCS Card means your skills and qualifications will be recognised by UK employers and it will give you a better chance at employment in construction in the UK.
