What is the crusty discharge I keep seeing around my childs eyes?
This is likely to be a blocked tear duct (Blocked lacrimal duct), also medically known as Dacrostenosis. This occurs due to obstruction of the tear duct with debris, while in the uterus. The patient should be seen by the Pediatrician who will diagnose this condition. Daily massaging of the area, as shown by the Pediatrician, is the treatment required.
