What is the criteria for admission into the VCC specialist program?
Decisions concerning who will be admitted to the specialist program are made by a faculty committee from the Centre for Visual and Media Culture each May. There is no portfolio required. Decisions are made on the basis of both GPA and performance in VCC-relevant coursework. There is no hard-and-fast GPA cut off. In the Spring of 2003, for example, there were 36 applications, and 24 were accepted.
