What is the Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test (CJBAT) (formerly known as the Florida Basic Abilities Test or FBAT)?
The CJBAT is a timed 2½ hour multiple choice test. It is required for those who are interested in a career in law enforcement. The CJBAT measures reading comprehension, language, spatial relations, chart interpretation, map reading and clerical aptitude. All areas are geared towards law enforcement situations.
