What is the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW)?

0

The CQFW is being implemented as the common measure of achievement underpinning the whole range of learning in Wales. An increasing range of learning is being recognised with credit values e.g. A Levels and Key Skills. Work is also in progress to determine and agree credit values for GCSE qualifications. It is anticipated that the current work on UK vocational qualifications reform will lead to a greater number of credit based vocational qualifications which could be used with learners aged 14-19 as part of their agree individual learning pathways.
