What is the Creative Learning Communities grant program?
The Creative Learning Communities (CLC) grant program provides grants to public elementary schools that seek, in collaboration with their local school districts, support for designing and implementing creative teaching strategies that improve student performance. Disney Learning Partnership is providing grants totaling six million dollars over three years to individual or groups of elementary schools. The amount of a grant to an individual school ranges, depending on the scope of work and size of school, up to $100,000 annually for three years. Grants to a group of schools applying as a consortium range up to $200,000 annually.
