What is the cost structure of a cataract operation?
This procedure involves the use of a sterile operating theatre, phacoemulsification machine (for laser), high resolution microscope and ophthalmic-trained personel. The total costs depend on a) what type of intra ocular lens is used and b) type/amount of anaesthetic charges (local or general).
