WHAT IS THE COST OF THE IMAGERY/DATA?

0

If imagery is provided from the TIO Archives, or the NGA CSIL the data is free. If the data is acquired from the vendors there is a cost associated with that data. The cost of the data varies with the size of the request (square kilometers of AOI), the processing required and the licensing level of the imagery. There is a minimum requirement for new collections, for example the minimum size for a new collection of IKONOS imagery is 100 square kilometers. Archived data can also be purchased from vendor archives, and costs less than newly collected imagery. TIO always looks for imagery available at no cost first and then pursues purchases if necessary.
