What is the cost of SWE membership?
Membership dues are $120.00 annually. Dues for full-time students are $20 annually. Dues are reduced by 50% (to $50.00) for members who are unemployed or retired (and not employed). The SWE fiscal year runs from July 1st to June 30th of the following year. Dues are prorated 50% (to $50.00 or $25.00) for applicants submitting memberships between January 1st and June 30th. Proration does not apply to student memberships. Applicants are required to submit a $20 application fee (waived for student applicants and student upgrades). This fee is non-refundable. Allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
