Mandar: Depending on how fast you absorb information, how much you study on your own, how much ground school you require, whether you get the $1000 Bose headset or the $130 AvCom, and how quickly you develop in the skill department, your Private Pilot Certificate with Airplane Single Engine Land rating will cost anywhere from $6,000 to $10,000. The median is probably somewhere in the $8000 department. To get you through Commercial AMEL and ASEL, CFI, CFII, and CFI-ME, depending on the school will cost anywhere from around $40,000 to $100,000. Where this price falls, depends on you and the school that you select.
