What is the cost of membership?
To join, you are required to purchase just one Membership Share at a cost of $100. If you ever decide to leave the Co-operative, you get this back. • What agreements will I be required to sign? There are two types of agreements as follows – 1. A supply agreement for each commodity (i.e. natural gas, electricity) that is signed only once but may be amended as supply transactions are entered into. 2. An agency agreement, for natural gas only, which is signed only once, but may be amended to add or delete locations. The purpose of this agreement is to make your local utility aware of our relationship. • How do I become a Member, and what are the obligations? Simply apply by completing an application form. As a member, we ask you to commit to the Co-operative on a long-term basis rather than on a year-to-year basis in order for us to take full and timely advantage of pricing opportunities as they arise.
