♡The cost of living in Tokyo may vary considerably according to what your living standards are. I was surprised to read this quote on the Daito Bunka University “Life in Japan” page: “What is the average cost of living in Japan? Average living cost is estimated 70,000 to 100,000 yen per month, including rent, utilities and food expenses.” http://www2.daito.ac.jp/en/modules/Life_… That seems a little much to me. I (and hubby) have lived here for over 8 years now and we live comfortably on MUCH less.
