What is the cost of living in University Housing?
Room and board rates for the 2009-2010 academic year can be viewed here. Each student who submits a 2009-2010 University Housing License Application will also be required to make the initial payment. The initial payment will be $1,000 and applied to the TOTAL academic year housing costs. Financial Aid applicants are also required to send in the initial payment. If you are a financial aid recipient and you received an application fee waiver or if your FAFSA Confirmation showed an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of less than $5,200, your initial payment will be $300. This payment can be paid anytime after March 9, 2009 but must be paid before applying to live with University Housing. The initial University Housing payment is fully refundable (less $5.00 processing fee) if the official University Housing License Cancellation Form is filled out and submitted to the University Housing Office via email attachment, mail, or fax 30 days before the opening day of the term.
