What is the cost of living in Seattle area (Bellevue)?
Bellevue is a nice area apartments can get pricy if you are near downtown (studio apt starting at 950+ or so, averege 1 bed. 1400+ houses on average are $450,000 for an older home to well into the millions) if you go to the crossroads area, which is the “ghetto” (there is not actually a ghetto in bellevue it just isn’t nice like the rest of bellevue) there are a lot of immigrants there. The down side of bellevue is LOTS of traffic. The eastside of seattle is definately a nice place to live though I live in kirkland about 10 min north and I love it here I have also lived in newcastle its really nice there but there is a very suburban feel to it.
