Cataract surgery with the traditional / monofocal intraocular implant is covered by most insurance carriers and Medicare. You will be responsible for normal deductibles and co-payments. You may upgrade your intraocular lens implant to the astigmatism correcting or the multifocal / bifocal implant for an additional fee.
