The full cost of a site assessment is $300, which includes travel to the site, a comprehensive interview with an electricity consumption audit and solar reading, and a written report. If you live within Focus on Energy territory, you can fill out an on-line or paper form by mail to receive a coupon towards 50% off the cost of an assessment. Most major utilities are in Focus on Energy territory (WE Energies, WPS, Madison Gas & Electric).
