What is the cost and how long is the dog license good for?
For unaltered dogs, the cost is $12.00 per year and $24.00 for two years. For altered dogs the cost is $6.00 per year (verification required) and $12.00 for two years. The dog license expiration date coincides with the rabies vaccination date. A penalty of $10.00 will be applied for any person failing to purchase a renewal license prior to the expiration date of the previously issued license. Penalty and license fee will be collected upon issuance of a renewal license.
