Temperatures between the pad and the disc do not normally exceed 400 -450C even in heavy street use. Safeline Brake Pads are heat stable to 600 C. Blue lines or dots on your brake rotors are an indication of excessive heat – check calliper condition as well as fitment clips and pins to make sure that the Brake Pads are not binding on the discs during normal driving.
