The guidelines suggest that normal height for 5’6″ would be 130lb, give or take 10% (as different body types/amounts of muscle mean there is always some variation), so 130lb with a range of 10% (13lb) on each side would be 117lb – 143lb. Anywhere in that range is considered healthy, depending on your build and amount of muscle you have and whether or not you will be more “thin” looking or “athletic” looking. Don’t get below this, though, because that really is too thin looking (and even guys who like skinny girls don’t like the ones who even get BELOW the bottom of their weight range). Also being more than 143lb would also make you unhealthy and probably put you at risk for heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, etc.
