What is the correct way to cut a mango?
There are many different ways to cut a mango. One way is to hold the mango upright with the stem on the bottom. Using a sharp knife, cut alongside the pit of the mango on both sides. You should now have three pieces. The pit and the two sides. Take one of the sides, and make lengthwise and crosswise cuts through them, making sure not to cut through the peel. You can now scrape the pieces of the mango off with your hand or use a paring knife. Repeat this procedure with the other half of the mango as well. With your paring knife you can scrap the flesh off the pit itself. Put the cut pieces of mango in a bowl, and enjoy!
