What is the correct URL (link path) to refer to course files from .htm or .html files?

• If you are creating an .htm or .html file and would like it to contain links to other course files, do not use the link from the browser address bar. • To obtain the proper HREF information for the files: • Go to File Manager • Click on the ActionLinks icon beside the file • Choose View File HREF • The file path should look something like: “/webct/RelativeResourceManager/Template/filename.htm” • This is the correct path for your HREF and SRC references. • An alternative is to add the prefix of: “https://vista.sheridaninstitute.ca” to the appropriate file HREF information. The resulting URL will look something like: https://vista.sheridaninstitute.ca/webct/RelativeResourceManager/Template/somefile.htm Please do not add links within Microsoft products (i.e. Word documents) referring to files stored in SLATE. These links may not work properly.
