NeXT did (and probably will) change their naming conventions a lot. E.g. NEXTSTEP is the current correct spelling for their operating system. With the shipping of OpenStep, there will be no more NEXTSTEP, but OpenStep for Mach/Solaris/HP-UX/Windows95/Wind owsNT. Incorrect spellings are: NeXTSTEP, NeXTstep, NeXTStep. A common shortcut used in the newsgroups is: NS for NEXTSTEP.
