What is the correct Reference Amount Commonly Consumed (RACC) for lasagna?
Sally Jones at USDA/FSIS’ Labeling Review Branch informs us that the original RACC table for meat and poultry products put meat lasagna into the category of “mixed dishes NOT measurable with a cup.” This error was corrected: meat lasagna now appears under “mixed dishes measurable with a cup,” and the ready-to-serve RACC is 1 cup.
