First clean off the dust, dirt and other foreign matter on the surface of the holding tanks, drain pipes & elbows, or fresh water supply pipes using soap and water. Rinse with clean water. Let the surface dry completely. Next wipe down the surface with Isopropyl Alcohol (70% minimum.) Allow the alcohol to flash off the surface so it is totally dry. Now the surface is ready for the UltraHeat® Heater to be installed on it.
