What is the Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Document?
This will describe our long-term vision and objectives to 2021 and how they can be met. It will set out strategic policies for steering and shaping development and identify in very general terms, broad areas for new housing and employment growth, transport infrastructure and areas where development should be constrained. The second part of the Core Strategy will contain more detailed, day-to-day planning policies that will be used to assess individual planning applications.
