What is the construction at the front gate?
A. The Camp Pendleton main gate is currently under complete renovation. This project will provide additional lanes for ingress in an effort to help mitigate some of the current traffic problems associated with morning commutes. The new gate area will also include force protection enhancements designed to increase security and safety for all personnel aboard the installation. Scheduled completion is Fiscal Year 2010.
