What is the Connections tab?

A network tool that lets you obtain information about current TCP/IP connections. You can use the Connections tool to query detailed listings of all TCP and UDP sockets on your system, including the foreign address and state of TCP connections. On Windows XP, 2003, Vista, 2008, 7, and 2008 R2 the Connections tool also reports the name of the process that owns each socket.
