What is the connection between International BIC Fellowship and IBICA?
In 1978 the International Brethren in Christ Fellowship began in order to provide for an opportunity for fellowship for any BIC leaders and members who were in attendance at the Mennonite World Conference [for more information see the article, “The International Brethren in Christ Fellowship”, by Harvey Sider in Brethren in Christ History and Life (December 2005)]. The present IBICA has developed directly from the IBICF in response to the call of our global leaders, so the IBICA is now being constructed on the solid foundation provided by the IBICF and past BIC leaders.
