What is the concurrent BS/MS degree?
The undergraduate students already in the BS Civil Engineering degree program at Utah State University can request admission to the MS program in their senior year. With this option, the student can directly migrate to the MS program and obtain the MS degree by completing 24 more credit hours beyond the BS requirement of 126 credit hours. In essence, the student can save 6 credit hours by directly enrolling in the BS/MS degree program which provides you with both BS and MS degrees for an additional one year of work or 24 credit hours. However, this is not an option for outside applicants.
