What is the conclusion of things that dissolve in hot or cold water?
Solids dissolve best in hot water, gases dissolve best in cold water. This is all due to kinetic energy. Hot water has a lot of kinetic energy, enough that it can easily dissolve solids, like salt or sugar. Dissolving a gas is more dependant on the kinetic energy of the gas, rather than the solvent. A hot gas has a lot of kinetic energy, and it is hard for the solvent to keep it in solution. A cold gas has lower kinetic energy, and is a bit easier for the solvent to keep dissolved. This is why sometimes hot water from the tap appears cloudy. Water is heated in a closed system, so there is nowhere for the gas to go, and when it exits the system through the faucet, all the hot gas is suddenly released.
