What is the Computer Replacement Program (CRP) in a nutshell?

0

The CRP will move the responsibility of buying computers for Staff and Faculty members from the individual departments to a central ACU function similar to utilities such as power and water. All Staff and Faculty members will receive a new computer so they always have an updated computer that is under warranty. As part of this program a University-wide backup solution (which is limited to 10 gigabytes of the critical user’s data) will be implemented to backup each user’s data to a network storage device automatically throughout the day to avoid loss of data.
