Well there are two most commonly used programs. Microsoft’s Frontpage that comes with Office and Macromedia’s Dreamweaver. You can also convert a word document into HTML but that wouldn’t be so wise. If you are experienced in programming you can also use Microsoft’s Visual Studio for making asp and .net web sites. If you would like to make a good page there is no better program than Dreamweaver. It is always rated 10/10 and I think no one can compete with it. With it you can do almost everything. I say you should get yourself Macromedia studio that contains Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks among other programs. These are tools meant to make web page making easily.
