What is the Community stand on industrial action?
Community can only support industrial action in workplaces where a majority of Community members have voted to commence Industrial action. Industrial action does not always mean strike action; it can be overtime bans or working to rule. Community will always work to negotiate equitable settlements between employees and employers but understands that in some cases industrial action is required to protect the rights of members. However, Community cannot force members to take industrial action or go on strike if they vote not to take action.
