What is the Commissions approach to small charities?
In summary we can take a more proportionate (or ‘light touch’) approach to small charities. Our main aim is to enable the trustees of smaller charities to make relatively straightforward – but important – decisions without the need to constantly justify decisions to us in detail. Issues where trustees will be able to make decisions more quickly and efficiently include, for example, the business of changing many aspects of their charitys governing document.
