What Is the Comments Field For?
When checking out, you will have the option to add additional comments into a comments field. If you have any special requests such as “I am placing this order for Regionals and need these cards by next Saturday”, this is where you would let us know. Please note that entering profanity, or otherwise inappropriate language, into the comments field may result in us cancelling your order outright.
This “Comments” field is a flexible system for displaying one or more chunks of text. How you use this is up to you. You could, for example, post regular comments on topics of interest to you, creating in effect your own personal web log (“blog”). You can also use the Comments field to post favorite quotes, present a reading list, publish your own summary of a conference you’ve attended, add an excerpt from a recent article you have written or even display the whole thing. (Remember that you are bound by all applicable copyright laws when you post words and images not your own). The Comments section is displayed on your home page without a heading, but you can add your own headings directly in the text box. You can turn off the Comments field if you decide not to use it, converting the two-column format to a single-column version that allows the other fields to occupy the entire width of the screen.
