What is the column headed “SignOff” for?

Once you have entered all the information into VISTA for a form, clicking on “SignOff” tells VISTA that you’re ready for a final checking (“validation”) of the information and for the form to be submitted to the permanent study database. If everything is complete and consistent, the form will be moved to the VALIDATED status column. On the other hand, if VISTA detects a problem, you’ll see a display of problems needing resolution, and the status will be changed to INVALID.
