Columbus Landmarks Foundation is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating Columbus’s architectural legacy. Columbus Landmarks Foundation encourages community action in historic preservation and quality design of the built environment throughout central Ohio. In addition to presenting City Hop, Columbus Landmarks Foundation hosts the annual Recchie Awards, recognizing contemporary urban design excellence. Columbus Landmarks also hosts weekend guided walking tours in Columbus neighborhoods. The 2009 series runs from May through October with the tours led by historic preservation, architecture and history experts. Specialty tours such as the stained glass, advocacy site, forbidden city and Halloween tours are also hosted by Columbus Landmarks Foundation. Members receive ticket discounts.
