What is the COLS program?
Calling Online Students, a support program. Internet students will be telephoned about three times throughout each semester by a student caller, an employee of Tyler Junior College. The purposes of these calls are to insure the success of students and to ascertain any difficulties with the class or TJC technology. The callers are not course tutors; your instructor should be contacted about course content. But feel free to ask them for any other TJC information, as they have referral numbers for almost everything. You will be asked to provide at least two functioning phone numbers for this program. The caller will never talk to anyone other than the Internet student. 4. Are these classes self-paced? ‘Fraid not.
