What is the colour temperature setting function of white balance control and under what circumstances is it effective?
This function allows you to directly set the colour temperature (Kelvin) or the Magenta/Green compensation in white balance setting. It is useful for photographers who would like to use their own ideas for colour reproduction using measured values from a colour meter or with personal values. The photographer can also use the correction data from the custom white balance to fine tune the settings to easily achieve the desired level of adjustment. Colour temperature can be set between 2500 and 9900K in 100 K increments. Magenta/Green compensation can be set at G9-0-M9 in 19 steps.
