What is the colour of universal indicator paper in a neutral solution?
There are many different types of so-called Universal indicator papers available. They all have different colour systems. For instance, the very high quality universal indicator paper that I use in my classroom, manufactured by the German company Merck, which covers the range from 0 – 14pH has 4 coloured bars. These change individually for each pH. For pH 7.0, the bars are coloured : Orange: Pink:Olive Green and Yellow. I have seen another much cheaper and less reliable universal pH paper that I think has a green colour at pH 7.00. Maybe this is what you are refering to. But there is no single answer to your question.
