What is the colored bar below the video window?
The colored bar at the bottom of the playing window is a video timeline you can use to time shift your viewing. You can watch a program broadcast earlier in the day by clicking on the color bar. If you need to go back in time more than just a view hours, click on the program guide link, which is located right below the video window, and you will be taken to an electronic program guide you can use to quickly navigate to a particular program. When the program guide section is shown you will notice that you can select a day on the top pull down. Selecting a particular day will populate the lower schedule window with the programs that have previously been recorded. Selecting a program will cause that program to begin playing. You can see the change in the smaller player in the upper left-hand corner. When the desired program is selected, click on the “close” link at the lower left to return to the larger play back window.
