What is the Coastal Consistency Review Process?
It is a process in which the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Office of Project Management and Permitting (OPMP) coordinates the review of activities and projects that require state a federal permits. The five-step process advances your project in a timely manner through the agencies that have regulatory responsibilities. The process also involves obtaining a statement of consistency from the coastal district in which the project is proposed.
