What is the clone retrieval process?

Upon receipt of a request for a NorCOMM clone, the production facility bioinformatician reviews the clone request and the data associated with the requested clone. If necessary, a summary of the information for a particular clone and request for confirmation of the order will be emailed to the Requester. Once the Requester confirms their order or if no problems are identified during bioinformatics review, the clone retrieval process is initiated at the CMMR.
