What is the climate in Gardiner, NY?
We enjoy a moderate climate at Latitude 41-42 North, Longitude 074-12 West. Our summers can be hot (average maximum temperature in July 79F) and sometimes humid. The fall scenery is very colorful with a mix of deciduous and evergreen trees in the valley and along the Shawangunk ridgeline. Our winters can be cold (average minimum temperature in January 16F) with light to moderate snow expected during December-February. Our spring weather is usually a good mix of sun and rain with occasional severe thunderstorms. The average annual rainfall (incl. snow) is about 44 inches.
