What is the climate at the Caribbean side?
The climate at the Caribbean side (Bocas del Toro) is very similar to the Hawaiian islands. The average air temperature is in the low 80’s, water temperature is in the low 80’s, light breezes flow from the northeast from 5 to 15 knots and there is no history of tropical storms during the last 140 years. The climate is consistent throughout the year with many sunny days. Rainfall is approximately 100 inches per year and often occurs at night with short showers during the day.
