What is the Clean Water Program About?
In an attempt to improve the water quality of Oceansides creeks, rivers, lakes and beaches, the City of Oceanside has established the Clean Water Program. This multi-faceted program is designed to not only help Oceanside businesses comply with all applicable federal, state and local regulations governing urban runoff, but act as a resource for teachers, residents and businesses to help enhance water quality through pollution prevention practices, community activities and education. Using compliance, education, awareness and technical assistance, the City of Oceanside strives to improve water quality beyond federal, state and local requirements.
