I belive it is just a percent of the total graduating class, so… 5% = 28 or lower 10% = 57 or lower 25% = 144 or lower 33.3% = 193 or lower 50% = 289 or lower ***** oops!, lower, not greater… da! ***** and everyone else (for the most part) is right, you are sitting at about 23%… and to get that, you do indeed take (136/579)*100 = % the same formula can be applied to find anyone’s position… n/579*100=% (where “n” equals that persons “rank”)… by the way, congradulations, welcome to the real world, my suggestion would be to move on, get a college degree, and at that point, high school will seem insignifigant… I graduate college in about 2 weeks, yay!!!… for my area of study, I am about one of five people graduating… my class started with almost 40 people, and I will be either #2, or #3!!! sweet!
