WHAT IS THE CIVITAN FOUNDATION OF CANADA?
The Civitan International Foundation of Canada is a non-profit corporation which seeks to encourage and recognize good citizenship; to develop understanding of basic human freedoms; to provide Bursaries in higher education; to support work in health related fields with special emphasis on aid to the mentally, physically, and developmentally challenged. It offers Private members, Corporations, Civitan members and Civitan Clubs of Canada the opportunity to voluntarily support the good programs of the Civitan International Foundation of Canada and “to make this world and country a better place in which to live”.
