Edmonton City Council approved a special subsidized transit pass for AISH recipients living in Edmonton. The cost of this pass is $31.00 per month (effective March 1, 2009). The Provincial Ministry of Alberta Seniors and Community Supports has agreed to cooperate with the City of Edmonton in helping those Edmonton AISH recipients interested in this program to enrol in it.
