What is the Citizens Advisory Committee?
The Citizens’ Advisory Committee (CAC) offers the community an opportunity for a timely exchange of information with TxDOT about the Harbor Bridge project. During these meetings, TxDOT and its consultant provide a project status report and seek the group’s input on upcoming public involvement activities. The committee meets about twice a year (more frequently if needed) both in Corpus Christi and in Portland.
The BCCP Citizens Advisory Committee, or CAC, serves the BCCP Coordinating Committee by providing review and oversight of implementation of the permit terms and conditions, by studying and making recommendations on issues of special concern to the Committee, and by providing a forum for public input.
